We disassemble before we estimate

A visual inspection misses most collision damage. Before writing a repair plan we run a manufacturer diagnostic scan to pull fault codes and identify which safety systems were affected, then perform controlled disassembly to expose what sits behind the bumper cover and inside the quarter panel. Crush zones, mounting brackets, and sensor housings routinely turn up damaged on cars that looked lightly hit.

Only then do we determine what can be restored to manufacturer specification and what has to be replaced. The plan that comes out of it lists every part, every labor operation, every required calibration, and the cost.

You choose the shop, not your insurer

Ohio drivers have the legal right to pick their own repair facility. Your carrier may hand you a list of preferred shops, but it cannot require you to use one.

We participate in no Direct Repair Program. That matters when an insurer wants a part sectioned instead of replaced, or wants to skip a calibration the manufacturer requires. A DRP shop has a referral relationship to protect. We answer to the person whose name is on the title, and we document the manufacturer procedure when a line item has to be defended.

One customer brought us an SUV she had owned three months. The carrier questioned nearly every operation. We supplied the position statements, and the vehicle was put back the way its manufacturer specifies.

What to expect on timing

Minor panel work is often a few days. Structural damage, parts on backorder, and post-repair calibrations push that to one to three weeks. We give you a timeline after the teardown, when the scope is actually known, rather than guessing at drop-off.
